From studying law to reclaiming real beauty with Bron Stange of bopo women

September 20, 2018

Disrupting the beauty industry.

Every time you watch an ad, scroll your Instagram, flick through the glossy pages of a magazine, what do you see? how do you feel?

The beauty industry is a beast.

Women (and likely men too) have been sensitive to it’s portrayal of beauty for too long.

Through her own personal struggle, today’s “the switch” guest – Bron Stange – decided she had to do something about it.

Rather than protesting and being against beauty products, Bron is helping women by creating a unique range of skincare that encourages self-care and ritual.

She is the epitome of the phrase – “if you can’t beat em, join em”.

Bopo Women, is a body-positive, feminist skincare brand that encourages women, and non-gender identifying people, to reconnect with and reclaim their bodies.

Bron writes “I began to see how eating disorders, low self-esteem and body hatred drain women of our energy, ferocity and distract us from the vitally important work that needs doing in our world”

What it means to both thrive and do work you love

September 9, 2018

Have you ever wondered whether it is possible to thrive and do work you love?

I believe wholeheartedly that as women, we can.

This is the essence of what I teach and why I believe doing this work is essential.

How I define thriving and doing work you love:

Thriving if you look at the definition of thriving, it means to prosper or flourish. This ability to continually thrive is dependant on the foundation and conditions we create for use to do so as women.

Doing work you love this is about self-expression and self-empowerment. It is about finding your alignment between who you are and the work you are here to do in the world.

The women I work with, typically reach a point where they are questioning what success looks like to them. They desire freedom to travel, flexibility and to be driving their own path.

In order to create this life, we go deeper and get clear on what doing work you love means for you.

None of what I teach, is new wisdom. What makes it unique is how we overlay it, and how it specifically applies to women who want to thrive do work they love.

Build your tribe to thrive and do work you love

August 30, 2018

Building a tribe or network wherever your at in your career or business – is essential.

All you need to do is ask yourself the following:

Do I want to have a business in the future? grow my side-hustle? navigate a change in role? gain new skills? indulge something I’m passionate about, but have no idea where to start?

The answer is closer than you think. And you don’t have to find it on your own.

Thanks to the digital age, we are more connected than ever. Yet when it comes to making a change, finding the right people to help you navigate it can be a whole new world.

When we enter new territory, it often feels like we know nobody.

As women, we’re often stuck in the planning or hiding behind those we already know. That age-old fear of someone saying NO and being rejected.

Over the last decade some truly savvy women, have observed this problem and created wonderful opportunities for women to connect. Some of the coolest examples include Business Chicks, The League of Extraordinary Women or the Create and Cultivate conference.

In today’s video, I will teach you are three strategies to continually build and grow your tribe or network for success with ease.

Here are the three steps to building your authentic tribe mentioned in the video:

Step One: Know who makes up the different parts of your tribe so you can evaluate where your gaps are

Step Two: Nurture the existing connections – start from the inside and work out

Step Three: Expand your tribe – the authentic way

    July 24, 2018

    Who is Polly Hernandez?

To describe Polly in one word is very tricky, because she is such an incredible woman.

Polly is magnetic, passionate, talented and never afraid to be bold.

From the moment we first connected in late 2017, I could tell Polly was on the verge of a powerful shift in her life.  She jumped in head first and signed up for 1:1 mentoring over 8 sessions.

Some of Polly’s goals going into our work together included: a fully active website that sells products/branding/workshops, a rise in email subscribers, followers on social media channels and medium blog, personally Polly wanted to be surrounded by nature, living in a smaller community, and consistency with routines.
