As we mentioned in our first post for this brand, we were thrilled when Irene from Nourished Life, shared a couple 100% Pure products with us to trial.
A quick summary for those who haven’t seen the first post yet – this wonderful brand is one of our favourite finds as they are quite simply 100% Pure (their brand name may have just given that one away!)
The 100% Pure products are based on antioxidants, are gluten free (where possible) and contain no nasties or unhealthy toxins i.e. artificial colours & fragrances, synthetic chemicals, harsh detergents or chemical preservatives. Add to that, their products are also vegan friendly and not tested on animals. Our type of brand!
We were given their eye cream to road-test and here are our thoughts:
100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream
I was curious to try this product out as I’d seen how excited Irene had been when she first got it and it’s also one of their top sellers. The cream is made from green tea and coffee, both said to have strong anti-inflammatory benefits. The idea behind the cream is to de-puff the area around your eye as well as increasing circulation to brighten dark circles. As someone who does suffer from quite dark circles, no matter how much sleep I get or how well rested I am, I was excited about the promises this product made ….. and am happy to report that this product did not disappoint!
Used consistently every morning over a week, I saw my circles lighten which is a pretty big deal to me. Another nice benefit was my overall eye area was not as puffy as usual. The tube makes it easy to apply the cream and you can be quite specific with the application. The cream itself absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the area, or your finger, feeling greasy. Plus, to me the cream smells like yummy popcorn, so adds a nice aroma to the start of my day!
Proof in the pudding – I have incorporated it in to my daily routine and will be re-purchasing before I run out!

Like its big brother the Body Lotions which we featured a few weeks back, the smell of these products is sure to lure you in! I had previously heard about the anti-inflammatory properties of Green Tea before, but with the addition of coffee as a major ingredient I was curious to see the results.
I used the cream both morning and night for several days over the week. It is quite thick out of the tube so you only need a small amount for the eye area. After a few minutes the cream dries very quickly – almost like it sets on your skin, and probably due to the Aloe Vera being a main ingredient. After a few hours of applying the cream, I was amazed to see how it reduced darkness and puffiness around my eyes. Finally, one of the biggest bonuses is that it’s really economical – perfect for anyone wanting to test out a natural eyecream!

There was an Independent Clinical four week study undertaken on this product and the results found were pretty exciting:
- GOOD BYE TO PUFFY EYES – 83% saw immediate reduction of puffiness
- SAY NO TO DARK CIRCLES! – 73% saw an immediate reduction of dark circles
- SAY YES TO MORE HEALTHY, BEAUTIFUL, YOUTHFUL LOOKING EYES! – 87% say they look more ‘awake, rested and refreshed’
