We were lucky enough to be gifted some Buddy Scrub to trial – it’s an all natural body scrub which aims to exfoliate, nourish and moisturise you. This product is made in Melbourne, Australia. It’s all natural and tested on humans not animals. I didn’t need any more encouragement to get down and dirty in the shower with this buddy!
Let me set the scene for you ladies – this scrub is a raw cacao scrub with hints of coconut oil and sweet almond oil…. yum!!! The smell of the scrub is off the hook – it’s decedent and the first time I opened the pack, I felt like I was smelling the ingredients of the cake. Yummy!
This also arrived at a perfect time for me as I’ve been having some issues with dry skin – so wanted to see the impact of using this scrub.
I used it in the shower as it’s recommended that the areas you want to use the scrub on is wet. I made sure I wasn’t directly under running water. I only needed about a handful of the scrub to cover both my legs (and bum!), the areas I wanted to focus on with the scrub.
The recommendation is to work on the area you’d like to focus on in a circular motion – let the scrub absorb over 5 – 10 mins. Chill out, hatch a cunning plan, sing your heart out in the bathroom acoustics or work through the remainder of your beauty routine and simply rinse off.
The process of massaging the scrub in is quite therapeutic and the scrub seems to melt in to your skin. Towelling off after my first use, my legs felt exceptionally silky smooth. Divine! I’ve been using it twice a week and need to stock up soon, as I’ve incorporated this in my weekly beauty routine
The packaging is cute and thoughtful (great handy resealable pouch) and I love the flirty messaging of the product / brand. Who doesn’t love a good flirt in the morning?!

In summary – it works! It’s super easy to apply and is fun to use.
